Let it snow!

It was snowing as I left home this morning - not a thick covering but the ground was white! It may be still snowing up there but down here at the shop, just raining. I have a little project picked out for this afternoon - I am going to make a couple more of these dolls. This is Red Elise - last week's project for the Red Club. She is one of the easiest but loveliest little dolls I have made. She is from a new range of patterns I have just discovered - two very talented kiwi girls, Sarah and Elizabeth, of ''The Farm Studio'' designs.

I have a few pics of some of the gorgeous work that the Friday stitcher girls have been doing. This is Gaye's fabulous bright flannel quilt.

And this is a beautiful little stitchery she has just finished.

Here's Debbie's hexagon table cloth - this was the first time Debbie had done hand-pieced hexagons and she reckons she is hooked!

I have finished a couple more of the blocks for ''Life's Pleasures and Treasures'' block of the month quilt - here's Happy Birthday.

And Easter Bunnies.

I am finishing off the last two this weekend and then will put it all together. So between the dolls and the quilt, my weekend is pretty much sorted. I'll be very happy stitching, and hope you will be too.

Great post, lots of lovely pictures. I've been toying with the idea of a hexagon quilt, I never thought to try a table cloth first, thanks for the inspiration.
Was talking to my FIL in Timaru last night, he says it's minus 7- 8 and they too are expecting more snow. Wrap up warm. I would offer to send you some sun, but it's pouring down!
