And nothing to do with sewing at all, but last weekend I went to see the butterflies at the Otago Museum and was completely entranced.

Hi Jen - love the dolls you have been working on. What a treat that would have been seeing the butterflies - just love them - the one in the photo you posted is quite stunning. Have just about finished my first block for the Butterfly Garden - the hand applique has been a new skill to learn and am slowly getting the knack of it :) My quilting friends have told me to stop unpicking looking for perfection as with practice will get better and there's certainly lots of applique ahead of me LOL. Hugs Jx
